Guidelines for Paper Submissions
Maximum length of all final papers is 10 pages (all inclusive) and in the correct format (for the template click here). Depending on the use of figures and bibliography this allows for about 3000 words. Describe clearly the purpose and relevance of the paper, references to existing theories and related works, research methods used and major results.
Papers are expected to show the following structure:
1. Introduction
2. Relation to Existing Theories and Work
3. Research Approach
4. Findings
5. Conclusion
6. References
Review criteria will be /1/ whether and /2/ how the paper extends the existing body of knowledge in engineering, technology and innovation as its contribution, and /3/ therefore its relevance for the conference topics, /4/ the scientific quality of the research approach and /5/ clarity of presentation.
Guidlines for Workshop Proposals
An important part of the ICE conference program are conference sessions, workshops and tutorials.
The Organizing Committee invites proposals for half and full-day workshops, conference sessions and tutorials focused on specific topics and questions related to one of the conference's tracks:
Living Labs
Entrepreneurial Partnerships Engineering, Technology, and Innovation
Concurrent Engineering and Product Development
Intelligent Enterprise Systems
Proposals should be submitted in the conference publications format up to four pages (for the template click here), and include the objectives and expected outcome of the workshop, the planned activities, the background of the organizer(s), the anticipated number of participants, and the means for soliciting and selecting papers (if this is the case).
Full papers for workshops or special sessions can be peer reviewed in the conference process to be published in the conference proceedings. A seperate paper must be submitted for the paper sessions.
