Munich University of Applied Sciences (MUAS)
Munich University of Applied Sciences was founded in 1971 as a merger of seven colleges of technology and higher education, some of which date back to the early 19th century. Today it is the largest university of its kind in Bavaria and the second largest in Germany. Its great variety of more than 60 well-structured study programmes, instructions in small groups, its international relationships, and excellent contacts with industry make it a highly renowned university. In 2011, MUAS and Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship, were awarded the title “Best entrepreneurial university of Germany” by the German Federal Ministry for Economics and Technology.
